About ISPO

What is ISPO?

The Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil System (ISPO) is an Indonesian Government policy based on Presidential Regulation No. 16 of 2025 and Ministerial Regulation No. 33 of 2025, aimed at improving the competitiveness of Indonesian palm oil while ensuring sustainable plantation management.

The ISPO standard is mandatory for all palm oil companies operating in Indonesia, from upstream to downstream, including the bioenergy sector under Ministry of Energy Regulation No. 3 of 2026.

If you have a complaint related to the certification process or wish to appeal a decision that has been made, PT Usaha Sertifikasi Lestari provides an official mechanism that is transparent and structured according to applicable regulations.

Complaints and appeals must be submitted in writing and signed by the applicant

Accompanied by supporting documents relevant to strengthen the applicant reasoning

Resolved within 30 business days at the latest from the date fully received

Certificate remains valid during the appeal resolution process
